INSPECTION SERVICES

At SAGAS, our Garment Inspection Services help buyers maintain consistent quality, workmanship, measurements and finishing standards throughout the apparel manufacturing process. Our inspection approach is designed to identify quality issues at the right stage, minimize production risks and ensure finished garments meet agreed buyer specifications.

From fabric and pre-production checks to final random inspection, we provide systematic quality monitoring across critical stages of garment production. Our team coordinates closely with manufacturers to identify deviations, recommend corrective actions and support timely resolution before shipment.

QUALITY CONTROL FROM PRODUCTION TO SHIPMENT

A well-controlled inspection process helps prevent avoidable quality problems, production delays and shipment-related concerns. SAGAS works with manufacturing partners to establish clear quality expectations and monitor production against approved samples, specifications, workmanship standards and buyer requirements.

Our inspection services can be planned according to the product type, order quantity, production stage and quality requirements of each program.

OUR GARMENT INSPECTION SERVICES

01. Pre-Production Inspection

Before bulk production begins, we review the approved sample, specifications, measurements, materials, trims, construction details and production requirements. This helps ensure the factory is fully aligned with the agreed product standards before production starts.

02. During Production Inspection

Our in-line inspection helps identify quality issues while production is in progress rather than waiting until the end of the manufacturing cycle. This allows manufacturers to take corrective action early and reduce rework, wastage and production delays.

03. Final Garment Inspection

Final inspection is carried out after production is substantially completed and garments are ready for packing or shipment. We assess finished products against agreed specifications and quality requirements to provide greater confidence before dispatch.

04. Measurement Inspection

Accurate measurements are essential for garment fit, consistency and customer satisfaction. Our inspection process verifies key measurement points against the approved size specification and tolerance requirements.

We review measurements across applicable sizes and identify deviations that may affect garment fit, grading or overall product consistency.

05. Workmanship Inspection

We assess garment construction and workmanship to identify issues such as uneven stitching, open seams, loose threads, puckering, incorrect attachments, poor finishing and other manufacturing defects.

Our focus is on achieving consistent workmanship across the production quantity and ensuring the finished garments meet the required quality level.

06. Fabric & Material Inspection

Where required, we support inspection of fabrics, trims and other production materials before and during manufacturing. Early identification of material-related issues can help prevent quality problems from continuing into bulk production.

07. Printing & Embroidery Inspection

Printed and embroidered garments require detailed quality checks to maintain design accuracy and finishing consistency. We verify artwork placement, colour, size, positioning, stitch quality and overall appearance against approved standards.

08. Packing & Shipment Inspection

Before shipment, we review packing requirements to help ensure garments are correctly folded, labelled, packed and prepared according to buyer instructions.

OUR INSPECTION PROCESS

01. UNDERSTAND

We understand the buyer’s product specifications, quality expectations, approved samples and inspection requirements.

02. PLAN

We establish inspection checkpoints based on the product, production stage, order quantity and manufacturing process.

03. INSPECT

Our inspection process evaluates garments against agreed specifications, workmanship standards and quality requirements.

04. IDENTIFY

Quality deviations and defects are documented and communicated clearly to the relevant manufacturing team.

05. CORRECT

Manufacturers are supported in implementing corrective actions and resolving identified quality concerns.

06. VERIFY

Follow-up checks help confirm that corrective actions have been implemented effectively.

07. REPORT

Inspection findings are communicated clearly to provide buyers with better visibility of production quality and shipment readiness.

BUYER-SPECIFIC INSPECTION STANDARDS

Every apparel program has different requirements. SAGAS can coordinate inspection procedures according to buyer-approved specifications, product standards, approved samples, measurement charts, workmanship expectations and packing instructions.

Our objective is not simply to identify defects, but to ensure that the manufacturing process remains aligned with the buyer’s expectations from development through final shipment.

OUR APPROACH TO QUALITY

At SAGAS, quality inspection is part of a broader production coordination process. We work to establish clear expectations between buyers and manufacturing partners and support quality control throughout the production journey.

By combining product understanding, manufacturing coordination and systematic inspection, we help create a more controlled and transparent sourcing process. Our goal is to support reliable garment production that meets agreed quality, quantity and delivery requirements.

INSPECTION REPORTING

Inspection findings can be organized into clear reports covering the relevant production and quality parameters. Reports may include inspection observations, measurements, defect details, photographs, corrective-action requirements and overall quality status.

This enables buyers and manufacturing partners to make informed decisions and address quality concerns efficiently.
